May Workshop- 'Blossom' Card Kit

Hi Ladies! Come play with paper this month and make these super cute cards! This 'Blossom' Card Workshop makes 15 cards (5 of each design) and includes the stamp set shown below. 

There are two options for this class/workshop:

Option #1: The entire kit, as shown below in the photo for $24.95 (plus tax & shipping)
Includes:
1 – Blossom Workshop Stamp Set (D-size)
2 – Blossom Papers (the double sided patterned paper)
4 – Cardstock Sheets (1 Pear, 1 White Daisy, 2 Kraft)
15 – White Daisy Cards & Envelopes
1 – Coral Reef Sequins (Z3042)
1 – Glacier Extra Thick Twine (Z3039)
1 – Instructional Brochure

You will need to bring a paper trimmer and a tape runner. We will cut all the pieces together. Or if you are short on time and would like me to cut all your pieces for you from your kit, just add $5 to your total. Then you can just stamp and assemble.

PLUS: As a FREEBIE from me - I'll include the base pieces and some extra scraps to make a two-page scrapbook layout as well! That means that you will leave with 15 finished cards (including envelopes), the stamp set to use for future projects AND a two-page layout!

Option #2: Make 5 assorted cards for $10. This includes:
-A less-expensive option, not requiring the purchase of the whole kit, (no stamp set, or extra embellishments)
-Choose any 5 assorted cards to make when you come
-Price already includes tax and shipping
-Some adhesive is provided, however please bring your own tape runner
-Cards are sold in 5pk increments. For example, 5 for $10, 10 cards for $20, 15 for $30, etc.
-All the pieces will be cut for you, just stamp, assemble and you are done!

Scrapbook Workshop- Hopscotch!

Join me Saturday, the 28th for a fun scrapbook workshop featuring Close To My Heart's 'Hopscotch' product suite!

Bare with me here- I've changed things up quite a bit with the way I have approached scrapbooking, so this post will be a little long, but it will all make sense, I promise. Thanks for your time in reading and please, as always, just ask if you have any questions! I'm excited to get together, have some girl time and create a fun way to record you own family's history.

Here are a few things that have changed:

• This will be a 3 hour workshop and you will need all 3 hours to complete it
• You will be cutting your own pieces! It's ok, breathe....you can do it! If that is just too painful, there is an option for me to cut it for you before-hand :)
• We will all start at 10 am together- we'll start by cutting the pieces for one layout, then move to the next, etc. 
• After we have cut the pieces for each layout, then we'll stamp the images and put it all together. However, if at this point, if you need to take off, feel free to assemble everything at home if needed. 
• With each scrapbook workshop we do there will always be the Close To My Heart kit that they offer in their catalog. There will also be 1-2 other kit options to choose from; these alternative kits are something I've put together for your convenience, which either include most of the Close To My Heat kit, minus the stamp set, or a kit with more products and more layouts, stretching your product purchase even further

This time around there are 3 Kit options.

For Option #1:

Here is the Hopscotch kit that Close To My Heart (CTMH) has offered in their catalog: 

This kit makes TWO 2-page layouts with lots of leftover pieces. These are the photos for those two layouts.

The Close To My Heart Kit includes:

Option #2 is the Basic Kit I've put together which includes everything above except the stamp set and instructional brochure. This kit makes the same TWO 2-page layouts and you will have leftovers.

Price for Option #2- the Basic Kit is $24.00 (tax and shipping included)

Option #3 is 'Em's Kit' which includes all of option #1 (kit with the stamp set and instructional brochure to use for further projects as well) plus the following:

-Makes two additional layouts- bringing your total to FOUR 2-page layouts!
4- Extra 12x12 cardstock sheets (2 brown and two grey)
1- Hopscotch Compliments Stickers (2 sheets 6x12)

Layout #1, which is the same as CTMH's first layout, with added 'complements' and I added a photo on the top of the left page.

Layout #2 which is the same as the second layout in the other kits...

Layout #3- I love the patterned paper of this kit but I needed a more masculine page as well, so I created this layout which is perfect for my boys.

Layout #4, using all the left over scraps from the first 3 layouts, I created this one:

As you can see 'Em's Kit' is more involved, but if you want to stretch all the pieces of your kit and get two more layouts completed all on the same day it's a great option!

The price for Option #3 is $40 (tax and shipping included), you get the stamp set, the instructional brochure, and FOUR 2-page layouts. You will have a small stash of scraps and left over stickers. 

Again, here are all 3 options:

• Option #1: Close To My Heart Kit $34.00 (their kit with stamp set, brochure, two layouts)
• Option #2: Basic Kit $24.00 (includes all the above except stamp set and brochure)

• If the idea of cutting your own pieces is too much this time, I am happy to cut all your pieces- just add $5 to your total. Everything would be ready to assemble and stamp when you come.

March is here and I have some FUN projects planned! There will be two different dates – one for cards and one for a scrapbooks! Close To My Heart uses the word ‘workshop’ whenever a consultant holds a class, so we’ll just start calling our get-togethers ‘workshops’  to keep all the lingo the same.  :)

On Wednesday, the 18th from 7-9 pm I’m holding the card workshop. The RSVP for that is due by this Thursday, the 12th. This post will go over the card projects and I will send/post more info for the scrapbook stuff, so look for that later this week. The date for the scrapbook workshop is Saturday, the 28th from 10 am – 1 pm.  The RSVP for that is due by Thursday the 19th. Look for all the details about the scrapbook pages later this week. There is a sneak peak of the kit we will use at the end of this post.

For the Card Workshop on the 18th, these are the cards: two different kits featuring the same stamp set. Everything in the kits is cut and ready; you just stamp, assemble and you’re done! You don’t need to bring anything except adhesive. If you need to purchase some just let me know when you RSVP and I can add it to your order. Also, there are a few of you who like me to make the projects for you- which I’m happy to do if you would prefer - that is still an option as well. ;)
