March is here and I have some FUN projects planned! There will be two different dates – one for cards and one for a scrapbooks! Close To My Heart uses the word ‘workshop’ whenever a consultant holds a class, so we’ll just start calling our get-togethers ‘workshops’ to keep all the lingo the same. :)
On Wednesday, the 18th from 7-9 pm I’m holding the card workshop. The RSVP for that is due by this Thursday, the 12th. This post will go over the card projects and I will send/post more info for the scrapbook stuff, so look for that later this week. The date for the scrapbook workshop is Saturday, the 28th from 10 am – 1 pm. The RSVP for that is due by Thursday the 19th. Look for all the details about the scrapbook pages later this week. There is a sneak peak of the kit we will use at the end of this post.
For the Card Workshop on the 18th, these are the cards: two different kits featuring the same stamp set. Everything in the kits is cut and ready; you just stamp, assemble and you’re done! You don’t need to bring anything except adhesive. If you need to purchase some just let me know when you RSVP and I can add it to your order. Also, there are a few of you who like me to make the projects for you- which I’m happy to do if you would prefer - that is still an option as well. ;)

Please note: the 1st photo has a yellow tint to it, making the arrows look gold and the card base look tan. The card base is actually more gray and the arrows are silver, as listed above in the kit contents. The second photo is true to color.
Price for this kit is listed at $9.95. With shipping and tax it’s $11.25 If you would like to do half a kit you are welcome to split one up with a friend!
The ’Thank You' Kit (makes 10 cards):

The stamp set we’ll use for both card designs is shown below. Pick and choose whatever greeting you want to go on your cards. These are great for any occasion. If you’d like to purchase the stamp set it’s just $9.95 ($11.25 with tax and shipping). There will be a stamp set to share during the workshop.

And now for the sneak peak of what’s coming up in the scrapbook workshop! It will be held March 28th from 10 am-1pm.
This kit is called ‘Hopscotch’ and I love it! The Close To My Heart kit includes the supplies, instructions, and a stamp set to make 2 two-page layouts. But there will be other options offered at my workshop including using up all the left over pieces from the kit to stretch it to make even more layouts! More info and pics coming soon! :)
